Controversial President of Techiman City, Charles Kojo Ntim has made a damaging claim against Hearts of Oak insisting that the Accra-based side dope their players for matches.

The club official who is also known as Micky Charles made his serious claim of the use of banned substances by the Phobians just days before the two sides clash in the Ghana Premier League.

The Brong Ahafo region based club wants the Ghanaian giants tested for the use of performance-enhancing drugs before the two sides meet in Techiman on Sunday.

“Article 36 of the GFA regulations talks about doping, and I want the FA to test them (Hearts of Oak) before Sunday’s game in Techiman,” he told Accra-based Atinka FM.

“I suspect them and so the FA must put in place measures to test them before the game.”

Hearts of Oak have shown fantastic second half form this season, winning most of their matches through strong efforts in the latter part of the game.

The Phobians spring to life in the latter part of the game which seems to have sparked the suspicion from the Techiman City side who look to be fearing the second half form of the Accra club.

However the club's stringent and hard and scientific training methods of their Japanese coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi has been credited for their form.

Hearts are currently second on the league table 13 points after six matches.
