Techiman City FC head coach Yusif Abubakar is reluctant to praise goalkeeper Richmond Ayi after a splendid performance against Inter Allies FC on Sunday.

His exploits earned a point for the Citizens but Abubakar explained his rotation of goalkeepers and other outfield players.

The former Heart of Lions tactician says the rotation of his squad is to curb complacency in the team.

Ghana Premier League maiden campaigners have used three goalkeepers in all competitions this season.

Razak Iddrisu and Frank Boateng have been keeping the posts for the Brong Ahafo based side

But their last two league matches have seen young Ayi starting as the goalkeeper of Techiman City FC.

The youngster has been named man of the match in both matches he started as the goalie.

"I want him to understand that he wasn't number the number one and he didn't start with us. All of a sudden, he never knew I will use him in the MTN FA Cup against Wa All Stars, the next game he was dropped and unexpectedly he was used against Bechem United," Abubakar expressed.

"He never knew he was going to keep against Inter Allies FC on Sunday.

"I'm working on a building a round team so that nobody will be complacent so as more as we go everybody will be ready for anything that comes our way."
