Players of Techiman City FC will be laughing home this week as brand sponsors Sasso Insecticide Spray is set to honour their promise of giving the team GHC10,000 for a win over Hearts of Oak.

The Managing Director of Samara Pharmacy, Dr. Samuel Apraku promised to give the team the quoted money for a win over the Phobians but the best they could secure was a draw.

However, he congratulated the team and assured them that even though the game ended in a draw, he was impressed with the performance of the team and will give them the money for securing a point.

Sources close to Techiman City FC have revealed to GHANAsoccernet.com that the sponsors are set to honour their promise by the close of this week.

Techiman City will therefore be approaching their week eight clash with Dwarfs in a spirited fashion as the players will psychologically charged for the challenge.

Accra Hearts of Oak held the spirited Techiman City side at the Nana Ameyaw Park in Techiman despite the stupendous performance of the Brong Ahafo-based side.
