Techiman City FC striker Stephen Manu expressed his happiness and satisfaction to have scored against his former club New Edubiase United in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday at Obuasi.

He was a thorn in the flesh of the Edubiase defenders in the entire duration of the game.

Manu vowed to score against his former club in the build up to the match day six fixture.

He scored in the 69th minute to put Techiman City FC ahead in the game before New Edubiase United levelled in the 89th minute to end the match in a 2-2 stalemate.

"I am so elated and delighted to score against my former club. Scoring against a former club denotes an extraordinary work done because not all players are able to score against their former clubs," Manu told GHANASoccernet.com

"I think I've been scoring against my former clubs whenever I meet them. I knew I was going to score as I promised. I just fulfilled my promise."
