Techiman City mark their Ghana Premier League debut on Sunday against regional rivals Berekum Chelsea at the Nana Ameyaw Park.
This is the first time football will be played in the commercial town of the Brong Ahafo region in 29 years since Holy Stars were relegated in 1986.
Samuel Kyere Snr. will play against his former club Berekum Chelsea in the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League opener.
Chelsea, former champions in 2011, have been quiet in the off-season but showed some brilliance at the FirsTrust G6 tournament in Sekondi.
