Jose Mourinho refused to blame specific players for Manchester United's shock defeat to Brighton.
Brighton manager Chris Hughton said his side's tempo was key to the 3-2 home win over Manchester United and praised striker Glenn Murray, whose superb flick opened the scoring.
Murray and Shane Duffy scored quickfire goals to put Hughton's side 2-0 up and, after Romelu Lukaku pulled one back, a Pascal Gross penalty made it 3-1 before Paul Pogba struck from the spot in second-half stoppage time.
It was the second time in two seasons that Brighton had beaten United at home, and Hughton told Sky Sports that the tempo set by his side had been the crucial factor.
"I thought the tempo, right from the start [was key] -- we always had an outlet," he said. "If you score three goals against any of the top six, it's always a good feat.
"The result shifts the mood from last week [a 2-0 defeat at Watford], but it doesn't change anything. This division is as competitive as ever, and our level of performance has to be somewhere near to this in order to get points.
"Sometimes things go your way, sometimes they don't. I think we forced things our way today with a very good performance."
Speaking to the BBC, Hughton praised striker Murray for an outstanding performance, saying: "He was excellent and you need that. You know you will be under pressure and need that out ball. Both Murray and Pascal Gross were very good."
Brighton's next match is at Liverpool on Saturday, and Hughton added: "There are not many more difficult places than Liverpool to go. If we put in a similar performance, then I'll be happy."
