Tashkent: Four goals from Suphawut Thueanklang saw Thailand claim third place at the AFC Futsal Championship with a comprehensive 8-0 victory over Vietnam on Sunday.
A first half brace from Apiwat Chaemcharoen, two Suphawut penalties and another from Jetsada Chudech helped Thailand establish a commanding 5-0 half-time lead.
And two more goals from Suphawut and another from Jirawat Sornwichian in the second half completed the comprehensive victory.
