The reappointing of Milovan Rajevac as Black Stars coach is a 'shame' - Dr. Otchere-Ankrah

Dr. Benjamin Otchere-Ankrah, a Governance lecturer at the Central University, has said that the re-appointment of Serbian trainer Milovan Rajevac as the Black Stars head coach is a 'shame'.

The Ghana FA is expected to announce the 67-year-old tactician as the next gaffer of the national team replacing CK Akonnor who was dismissed a few weeks ago.

Rajevac led the Black Stars to the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations and also the quarter-finals at the World Cup same year.

Rajevac impolitely exited Ghana after the World Cup tournament.

Notwithstanding, the Ghana FA reached an agreement on a two-year contract with the Serbian to lead the Black Stars.

Reacting on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' programme, Dr. Otchere-Ankrah rebuked the Ghana FA over their decision to go back for Milovan describing the move as a disgrace.

He, therefore, messaged the Sports Minister regarding the GFA decision saying,

"be vigilant, Minister of Sports! . . . Minister of Sports must pay attention to it because the way and manner the GFA is playing with Ghana's money is bad. It's horrible. What is this?...It's a shame!''
