Two Asante Kotoko players Theophilus Nyame and Evans Quao who were rushed to the hospital during their clash with Techiman City on Sunday have been treated and discharged, the club has confirmed.
Midfielder Theophilus Nyame and centre back, Evans Quao suffered cuts on their heads in the 74th and 81st minutes respectively after a collision with their markers in separate incidents.
They were both taken to the Holy Family Hospital, Techiman where they were treated and discharged.
Despite the cut, Evans Quao continued play after his incident with Stephen Manu with his head bandaged.
But Theophilus Nyame, who collided with Yussif Hussein was hurriedly driven to the hospital from the park in an ambulance.
The two players were treated and discharged by the hospital before they joined their colleagues back to Kumasi.
