Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew has dismissed rumors of friction within the team, describing the relationship among players as that of a "family."
In an exclusive interview with Joy Sports, Ayew defended his teammates, stating that there are no problems or issues within the squad.
Ayew addressed the rumors, saying: "Obviously, we are not best friends, because everyone is different and has who they're closest to. But just like a family, the fact that you're closer to your sister doesn't mean you don't love your brother."
He emphasised that the team is united, saying: "There's no problem or friction within the team, and I'm yet to see any problem whatsoever. We're like brothers."
Ayew's comments come ahead of Ghana's FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad on Friday, where he will lead the team and look to continue his impressive form, having scored 9 goals in 13 appearances for Ghana last year.
