Thomas Partey makes 50th Black Stars appearance in 5-0 victory over Chad

Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey achieved a milestone 50th appearance for the Black Stars in their 2026 World Cup qualifier against Chad, which ended in a resounding 5-0 victory.

Partey played 83 minutes of the match, which saw goals from Antoine Semenyo, Inaki Williams, Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Salisu, and Ernest Nuamah seal the win for the four-time African champions.

The Arsenal midfielder has been an integral part of the Black Stars since his debut against Mauritius in 2016.

He has made appearances in various competitions, including the AFCON, World Cup, and international friendlies, scoring 12 goals and providing five assists.

Partey's 50th appearance marks a significant milestone in his career, and he will continue to play a crucial role in Ghana's quest to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
