Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey remains Arsenal's priority target this summer.

The Gunners are keen on the 26-year-old with Atletico reportedly holding out his full £45million release clause.

The 26-year-old has been consistently linked with a move away from the Wanda Metropolitano with English side Arsenal believed to be front runners.

The English side are ready to offer two players plus cash to prize away the midfielder, who has enjoyed a sensational run of form in Spain.

Partey has three more years on his current deal, meaning the Spanish side are not in a hurry to sell him cheap.

They are demanding Arsenal to pay the full £45million release clause before discussion ca be activated.

It's unclear if Partey's representative have held talks with Arsenal over a potential summer move for the Ghanaian superstar.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is a huge admirer of the talented Ghanaian and has been keen to add him to his roaster for the upcoming season.

But that means both parties must reach an agreement before a deal can be finalized.
