Tier 1 competition: Medeama start preparations ahead of potential semi-final clash against Hearts

Medeama have started preparations ahead of a potential semi-final clash against Hearts of Oak in the Tier 1 competition on Sunday, GHANAsoccernet.com can report.

The Mauve and Yellows are lurking to replace Asante Kotoko, who could lose the right to play against their sworn rivals.

The Normalisation Committee want Kotoko to write officially rescinding its decision to boycott the semi-final match against Hearts over format and disbursement standoff.

GHANAsoccernet.com can report that Hearts will not be granted a walkover with Medeama set to replace Kotoko if they fail to reach an agreement with the interim body of the Ghana FA.

Medeama missed out on qualification by whisker after Kotoko edged them on head-to-head rule.

Sources say top officials of the Normalisation Committee have already hinted Medeama to standby amid a potential withdrawal by Kotoko.
