Serie A leaders Napoli have seen a big-money offer for Torino centre-back Nikola Maksimovic rejected by the Granata.
Serbian international Maksimovic has been part of a steely Torino defence alongside the likes of Kamil Glik and Bruno Peres with attracted many suitors for the Toro trio, despite the Serie A side floundering to a disappointing 14th-place in 2015/16 due to a weak attack.

After making his international debut in 2012, Maksimovic moved to the Stadio Olimpico a year later and returned to the side on Sunday for the Granata’s 0-1 home defeat to Empoli, and may return to his current home ground in an Azzurri shirt when the two sides meet in May.
