Tottenham could yet stay at White Hart Lane next season.

The Sun says Spurs plan to move out for a year while the Lane is demolished and their new £750million home is completed on the site.

But the club's deal with the FA to play matches at Wembley is still to be signed.

Chairman Daniel Levy wants to be certain the new 61,000-seater super stadium will be ready for the start of 2018-19 before committing to the move for next season.

Minutes of Levy's meeting with Tottenham's supporters trust revealed: “There is a need to plan for all eventualities should any major issues arise, which would mean another year at White Hart Lane.

“THFC will not move away for two years so all conditions must be right before they make the call to move this summer."
