Tottenham on high alert after Mohammed Kudus' cryptic warning to Ajax

Published on: 07 August 2022

Tottenham could sign talented midfielder Mohammed Kudus, who appears dissatisfied at Ajax.

The Premier League club's interest in the highly rated player has not gone unnoticed, with attempts to sign him made during the summer transfer window.

Kudus, on the other hand, appears dissatisfied with his substitute role at Ajax, despite the fact that it is still early in the season.

After performing well in pre-season, the Ghana international expected to start Ajax's first game of the season, but manager Alfred Schreuder preferred a substitute role for the Kudus, who recently turned 22.

Kudus was visibly disappointed as he approached the field in the 90th minute of the game against Fortuna Sittard. He came on in place of Steven Bergwijn and played only three minutes before the game ended, with Ajax winning 3-2.

After the match, the Right to Dream Academy graduate posted cryptic messages on his social media page, and people are interpreting it as Kudus not being happy at Ajax, which is a boost for Tottenham in their pursuit of the midfielder.

Kudus came into the new season in top form, scoring four goals in 141 minutes.

Ajax's next match is against Groningen and Kudus will hope to start.
