Ghana forward Caleb Ekuban has expressed joy after netting the winner in Trabzonspor's Super Lig game against Erzurum on Sunday.
Ekuban grabbed the winner in the 23rd minute, his first of the season as Trabzonspor secured victory at home.
But it was his 'Ronaldo-like' celebration that caught the attention of the media and after the game, he was asked to explain the inspiration behind his action.
The goal came as relief to the Black Stars forward who was chasing his first of the season.
"We must congratulate everyone, we made very important sacrifices for this victory. Everyone ran, everyone fought and gave everything. We were successful in the defense of the team. We have to continue," he said after the game.
"I did the first thing that came to my mind. When I watched Cristiano Ronaldo too much and witnessed a lot of goal joy, I made the joy of Ronaldo."
This was also Trabzonspor first win after a run of five games without victory.
Ekuban has made four appearances this season.
