Trabzonspor have shown interest in signing Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban on a permanent deal in January.

The frontman is currently on loan at Trabzonspor from Championship side Leeds United and has recently found some form for the Turkish side.

According to reports in Turkey, Trabzonspor president wants Ekuban to remain at the club after praising his attitude.

However, Trabzonspor are not keen on paying the €1 million (£900,000) previously agreed with Leeds.

The 24-year-old has scored five goals in all competitions this season.
