It was a relatively quiet transfer window for some of Englands biggest clubs, highlighted by Newcastle United being the largest spenders with an outlay of £29m and Norwich City being the only other side to spend upwards of £20m.
In terms of numbers, Norwich brought in the most new players at eight, with Sunderland, Bournemouth and Watford all brininging in five and Newcastle four.
