Kotoko have reportedly signed striker Berekum Chelsea striker Obed Owusu as negotiations over Jackson Owusu remains inconclusive.

The Porcupine Warriors want to fortify their squad ahead of the new season and have moved swiftly to tie the striker down to a long-term deal.

Reports have claimed the Kumasi-based side will cough up GHc60,000 for the services of the impressive attacker.

Berekum Chelsea manager Oduro Sarfo has confirmed a deal for Obed has been completed but awaiting to formalize Jackson’s move to Kumasi.

“We have negotiated with Kotoko over Obed but have not opened talks over Jackson,” Sarfo said

Kotoko are keen to augment their squad as they are likely to lose several key players ahead of their title defense this term.
