After having a previous offer turned down by Olympique Marseille, Italian Serie A side Napoli are set to return with another bid for Ghana World Cup star Andre Ayew.

Napoli manager Rafael Benitez is bent on shipping the forward who has scored twice for Ghana in Brazil to the Stadio San Paolo.

With forward Goran Pandev set to leave the club next season, Napoli are in the market for a replacement and have identified Andre Ayew and Spanish international Michu who plays for Swansea City.

If Napoli are to be successful, they must up their $10 million bid which was rejected by Marseille in May.

Andre has been linked to Manchester United and Liverpool in the past.
