Ghanaian central defender James Papa Yaw has joined Swedish top-flight side Kalmar FF on a two week trial spell, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The Bechem United captain arrived at the Guldfågeln Arena last week and has started training with the Allsvenskan side with hopes of earning a deal at the club.

GHANAsoccernet.com checks has confirmed Kalmar followed the exploits of the powerful central defender with Bechem United head coach Tom Strand recommending the defender.

If he is able to secure a deal, he will become the second Bechem United player to make a move to Sweden after striker Augustine Okrah signed for BK Hacken on a six-month loan deal.
