Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak are eyeing a move for Liberty Professionals' impressive defender Alfred Nelson, according to reports in the local media.Â
The Phobians are keen to augment their squad for their continental and domestic challenge and have penciled down the name of the defender who plays at right-back but can also 'perfectly' slot in at a defensive midfield role.
Hearts reportedly put all their transfer deals on hold pending the arrival of new head coach but with talks with target man Herbert Addo reportedly broken down the capital club have asked assistant Stephen Abugri to lead the transfer.
The former King Faisal trainer has reportedly told Hearts officials to bring in Nelson to fortify full-back slot.
The 20-time Ghana champions are also hinging on dying hopes of landing Ghana keeper Stephen Adams from Aduana Stars though the keeper is linked with a move to the Arabian Peninsula.
