Former Ghana U20 winger Frank Sarfo-Gyamfi has passed medicals for Asante Kotoko and is set to sign a three-year-contract, according to Accra-based Oman FM.

The 21-year-old arrived in Ghana last week from South Africa after leaving Maritzburg United and headed straight to Kumasi to begin negotiations with the Porcupine Warriors.

Kotoko have been pursuing the former Wa All Stars attacker and came close to signing him last season but failed to reach agreement with Maritzburg.

However the youngster is a free agent now and GHANAsoccernet.com sources in Kumasi can confirm he will sign a contract with Kotoko before the end of the week to become Kotoko third official signing of the season.
