Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak could pull a quick one on rivals Asante Kotoko as they could make a swoop for their defender Kwabena Adusei, according to reports.

The central defender has refused a contract extension offer and has travelled to South Africa without the consent of the Porcupine Warriors.

And, reports has emerged Hearts of Oak have already initiated talks with the representative of the player over a possible move to replace him with Nuru Sulley who is likely to leave the club before the start of the Ghanaian season.

The former Medeama SC defender is in South Africa seeking to land a deal with a PSL side but is 80% sure of joining Hearts of Oak if he fails to secure a deal.

Hearts defender Nuru Sulley who has left the club to sign for Libyan side Al Nasr has praised the qualities of the defender and suggested the reports could materialise.

"He's a good defender and I've paired with him in national team games," he told Accra-based Oman FM.

Accra-based radio station Oman FM have claimed Nuru has told Hearts official to acquire Adusei as his replacement for the upcoming season.
