Argentinean soccer icon Lionel Messi has a new honour to add to his seven Ballon d'Or trophies and four UEFA Champions League titles - a hamburger.
Hard Rock Cafe have begun rolling out the new Messi Burger designed in partnership with the Paris St. Germain forward.
The burger has two steak patties, caramelised red onions, seared chorizo, provolone cheese, tomatoes and lettuce.
"(Messi) and his team went through a few iterations of this burger until we came across the perfect setting that he and his team gave the seal of approval to," said Senior Vice President of Operations at Hard Rock International David Pellow.
The burger is currently available to purchase in two Hard Rock locations in Florida before being rolled out globally.
So confident in the burger's quality even Cristiano Ronaldo and FC Barcelona fans are welcomed to try it.
"Maybe they'll convert their opinions by trying this amazing burger," said Pellow.
