Tunisian champions Espérance Sportive de Tunis have parted ways with Ghanaian forward Abdul Basit Khalid with immediate effect, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm
Khalid has been unimpressive since he joined the Gold and Blood in January 2021 which has led to the cancellation of his contract.
The 24-year-old managed only three goals in 24 appearances in all competitions for Espérance across the period he spent at the club.
Khalid moved from North Macedonian club Makedonija Gjorce Petrov following an outstanding show where he had scored 8 goals in 14 games.
Khalid is now a free agent and is expected find a new club before the summer transfer window is shut.
