The 27-year-old, who plays for Turkish side GaziÅŸehir Gaziantep, has been unable to travel to Italy to see his family due to global ban on travels.

The Ghanaian held a meeting with the Gaziantep Honoraray Consulate and the Italian Consulate in Ankara to negotiate a move back to the European country - where his family resides.

Chibsah, who has played for several teams in Italy for many years, holds a dual citizenship.

He has been attempting to leave Turkey for Italy as concerns grow over the coronavirus pandemic which has crippled the world.

But he is yet to be given the greenlight as the airspace in the European country has been shut.
