Turkish Federation ratifies Tawrick Djibril move to Trabzonspor

The Turkish Football Federation has cleared Ghanaian prodigy Tawrick Djibril to feature for his new club Trabzonspor, GHANAsoccernet can exclusively reveal.

The former Hearts of Oak youngster was entangled in a contractual disagreement with second-tier side Bucaspor who blocked his move to giants Trabzonspor.

Bucaspor accused the 21-year-old of illegally terminating his contract in December last year without justification.

But that has been dispelled by the player's local agent Prince Omar.

"Bucaspor refused to honour their part of the contract we signed with them so Tawrick had the option of walking out of the contract and Trabzonspor came in quickly to snap him," Omar told Sunyani-based Storm FM.

"They (Bucaspor) initially tried to block his move insisting they would allow the player to move only on condition that he wouldn't play in Turkey again

"But that was not appropriate so the Turkish Football Federation has cleared him of all those issues now."

He added that: "Tawrick picked up a slight injury but now he is doing well so hopefully he would feature for his new club in their next league game if they wish."

Djibirl is now set to get his stagnant playing career back on track.
