Twelve players join Black Stars camp in China

Twelve players arrived in the Black Stars camp in Xi'an on Monday ahead of the friendly against China on Wednesday.

China-based defender Lee Addy was the first to arrive in the team's hotel in Shaanxi Province.

He was later joined by the Juventus duo of Kwadwo Asamoah and Richmond Boakye Yiadom who were both in China for the Italian Super Cup match played over the weekend.

Germany-based defender Isaac Vorsah as well as Harrison Afful, Derek Boateng and Frank Acheampong also arrived in camp on Monday.

Captain John Mensah, Anthony Annan, Edwin Gyimah and Berekum Chelsea duo of Emmanuel Clottey and Ernest Sowah joined the team later in the day.

The rest of the players are expected to join the team by Tuesday afternoon.

The Black Stars will use the match to prepare for next month's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Malawi.
