Carlos Alcaraz repeats Rafael Nadal record with Madrid Open win
Carlos Alcaraz became Madrid Open winner on Sunday, May 7, 2023 with a win over Jan Lennard Struff.
Alcaraz celebrated a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 win and defended his title in Madrid.
This became his 4th Masters1000 win and 10th career title.
With the win, Alcaraz repeated Nadal’s record of winning Madrid Open for a second year in a row as well as the youngest player to defend a Masters1000 since Nadal.
