Chelsea have renewed their interest in RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol ahead of the summer transfer window after busy January transfer window
Chelsea are currently having a tough period in the season as they are struggling with poor results in both Premier League and Champions League and have been eliminated from both Cup competitions.
The Blues had a busy January transfer window as they welcomed David Datro Fofana, Benoit Badiashile, Andrey Santos, Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke as well as Malo Gusto and Joao Felix on loan.
However, Chelsea are still trying to improve their results in the league.
Ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Times Sport, Graham Potter’s side have renewed their interest in RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol.
The defender has a £97m release clause and his contract with the club expires in 2027.
Manchester City and Tottenham are also interested in the player.
During this season, Gvardiol has made overall 28 appearances in which he has scored 2 goals.
