Lionel Messi’s Agent Breaks Silence On Inter Miami Rumors
Reports earlier stated that Messi could be in contention to head to Inter Miami as David Beckham isn’t giving up on his pursuit to land the former Barcelona talisman.
With several other stars rumored to join on the move, it would be a dream come through for many Inter Miami fans but if only it happens.
Following the rising of the news, Lionel Messi’s agent, Marcelo Mendez was forced into speaking to the press in order to clear the air on his client’s stand.
“It’s fake news, there is no negotiation so that Lionel Messi joins Inter Miami next season,” Mendez said.
Messi is currently at the World Cup with Argentina and following their 2-0 win against Mexico, the South Americans now stand a chance of qualification into the knockout stage.
