Mikel Arteta speaks on Cole Palmer being ruled out vs Arsenal

Ahead of the game, it was confirmed that Cole Palmer will miss the game due to illness.

Palmer is currently tied with Erling Haaland as the league top goalscorer with 20 goals.

When asked about the news that Palmer is a doubt for the match, the Arsenal boss said: “I don’t know… we have no control over their availability. We only have control over ours.

“Whatever they put out, when you look at the squad, the quality that they have, it’s great.

“I think they are doing very, very well and much better than people say. It will be a tough match, for sure.”
