Novak Djokovic dedicates his US Open win to Kobe Bryant

Novak Djokovic beat Daniil Medvedev in the US Open Final 2023 with a 6-3 7-6 (7-5) 6-3 score.
Djokovic won 3rd Grand Slam title in 2023 and his 24th title in overall.
After winning the 24th title, Djokovic payed tribute to late Kobe Bryant, whose number for Los Angeles Lakers was 24.

Following the win, he revealed a shirt in tribute to the legendary basketball player, who died in a helicopter crash in 2020.
“Kobe was a close friend… we chatted a lot about the winner’s mentality.”
