Pep Guardiola has opened up on the Premier League opponents Aston Villa ahead of the weekend’s game.
The two teams are set to face each other in the domestic competition on Sunday, February 12, 2023.
Ahead of the meeting, Guardiola has given his verdict on Unai Emery’s side. The Citizens’ boss believes beating Villa will not be an easy task and explains why.
“We have to try to beat them and the players will be focused on the game. They are good in both sides (defensively and offensively),” the City boss said, via Manchester Evening News.
City are currently sitting in 2nd place in the Premier League table, five points clear of the leaders Arsenal. Villa, meanwhilele, are in 11th place with 28 points.
