Simone Inzaghi’s ideal XI: How Inter could line up against Bayern Munich

After a tough loss in the Derby Della Madonnina against AC Milan last week (2:3), FC Inter will be eager to bounce back against Bundesliga champions FC Bayern in the UEFA Champions League first round.

No doubt, the UCL group stage draw was unlucky for the Nerazzurri, as they are in the same group as two European giants: FC Bayern and FC Barcelona.

Coming into this game, Simone Inzaghi will make some changes to the starting XI for this matchup. There is a high probability that the team’s newcomer, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, will make his first start for Inter this season, while Hakan Calghanoglu will be benched. Romelu Lukaku is still ruled out due to injury, so Inzaghi will be keen to start with Edin Dzeko instead of Correa, who managed to score against AC Milan.
