U-20 Women’s World Cup: Black Princesses to know group stage opponents on Thursday

Ghana will know their group stage opponents for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup when the draw takes place on Thursday, May 5.

The draw will take place in San Jose, Costa Rica, the host country's capital.

Black Princesses coach Ben Fokuo head coach, and Hannah Amakye Asare, the team's administrator, will be in attendance.

Ghana is one of 16 nations that have qualified for the tournament. They are joined by Nigeria to represent Africa in Costa Rica.

The Black Princesses will attempt to advance beyond the group stage for the sixth time in a row this year.

Ghana qualified after impressing in the qualifiers, overcoming Zambia, Uganda and Ethiopia to secure a sixth consecutive World Cup appearance.
