Spanish La Liga side UD Levante are expected to make a bumper profit when they sell Emmanuel Boateng to Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang.

Reports in Spain suggest that the Frogs have agreed to sell the Ghanaian marksman to Dalian Yifang for a fee worth €11 million, which will be the second highest transfer in Levante’s history following Jefferson Lerma’s €30 million move to Bournemouth this summer.

Boateng  was signed from Portuguese outfit Moireirense in the summer of 2017 and became a instant hit, scoring 6 goals in 22 appearances in all competitions, including a hat-trick against Barcelona.

But the 22-year-old has struggled for form this season, netting just once in 16 La Liga appearances.

With the services of other strikers available such as Roger Marti, Borja Mayoral, José Luis Morales and Raphael Dwamena, Paco López's side have decided to cash in on the forward.

He has been left out of the side's 20-man squad for Monday's La Liga clash against Deportivo Alaves at the Mendizorrotza Stadium.
