Udinese coach bemoans mistakes in defeat to Juventus

Udinese coach Stefano Colantuono bemoans individual mistakes that cost them dear in their 4-0 home defeat to Juventus.

The visitors scored all their goals in the first half, with Paulo Dybala bagging a brace and Sami Khedira and Alex Sandro completed the easy win.

“The result is a shame because this is the first time we’ve been beaten in this manner,” Colantuono told Sky Sport Italia after the game.

“However, I saw similarities to our defeat to Inter earlier in the season. We conceded to their first opportunity in front of goal.

“We made so many individual mistakes today, and obviously making mistakes against big teams will ultimately lead to defeat.

“Juventus are in a league or their own at the moment, but we have to improve against the big teams.”

Udinese remain on 24 points, seven points away from the drop zone and now double figures in terms of number of defeats for this season in Serie A.
