Agyemang Badu's Udinese coach thanks fans for continued support after Lazio draw

Udinese coach Stefano Colantuono has thanked the clubs supporters after their goalless draw against Lazio at the Stadio Friuli on Sunday afternoon.

The game saw both Danilo and Alessandro Matri sent off, but no goals on the day as both sides settled for a point in a lacklustre match.

“We had a great approach to the game, we are now playing good, aggressive football,” Colantuono told Radio Rai.

“We played well until the episode involving the expulsion of Danilo, which forced us to play more conservatively.

“However, we conceded very little to Lazio on the pitch and this point is a very important one for us going ahead.

“I would like to thank the fans who came today as they were extraordinary and never fail in their support for us.

“We’re on track to reach our target, now we need to follow up this good performance with another one.”

Udinese currently sit six points above Carpi in the final relegation place and are on track to avoid relegation but need to keep a distance between themselves and those beneath.
