UEFA could resume UCL in 'Final Four' mode in Germany

UEFA reportedly sticks to the Final Four hypothesis for the Champions League but could change the location from Turkey to Germany.

Serie A has established the dates for the resumption of Serie A, proposing to initiate with the remaining games in the Coppa Italia on June 13 and 14 and the Final three days later, before resuming the League on June 20.

Sky Sport Italia claims the UEFA wants to resume the Champions League on August 7 and 8, with the missing return legs of the last 16.

Barcelona-Napoli and Juventus-Lyon are among the matches still to be concluded, before the competition proceeds with a one-legged knockout round in the quarter-finals on August 13 and 14.

There has already been talks of a reduced formula with a Final Four in Instabul, Turkey. But the report claims the last four might be played out in Germany, where the Bundesliga resumed in mid-May.
