Bruno Fernandes has broken the silence following Portugal’s World Cup game with Morocco on Saturday.
Manchester United star’s team faced a defeat to the rivals in the quarter-finals and had to exit the top competition.
Youssef En-Nesyri scored for Morocco to give his side the lead and secure the African team’s place in the semis.
After the heartbreaking defeat, Fernandes took to Twitter to share his feelings, writing:
“It’s difficult to express in a few words everything we felt yesterday after the game ended. Our dream fell apart when we did everything to make it end differently.”
