UFC president Dana White said he has not yet found an opponent for top welterweight Khamzat Chimaev.
The promoter admitted that he tried to set up a fight with Nate Diaz, but the American turned the fight down.
At the moment we don’t have a fight for Chimaev, but we are working on it. We are trying to arrange a fight for him, we are trying to arrange a fight for Diaz.
Whether it will work out to bring them together in the octagon – who knows? But I don’t see the point in dramatizing the situation, White said.
