Esteban Ocon hopes that the French Grand Prix will not lose a place in the calendar of Formula 1.

It is believed that in the next season, a place in the “F-1” can lose stages in France, Belgium, and maybe even Monaco – the contracts for these Grand Prix expire at the end of the year.

At the same time, next year the races in Qatar and Las Vegas will definitely be added to the current list of Grand Prix.

It’s clear that I’m following the discussions and seeing what’s going on – and yes, things aren’t looking good so far. And it’s very disappointing.

When I first started my career, the French Grand Prix was not yet on the calendar. Then it was back on the calendar and I was lucky enough to have a few home Grand Prix. The race in France will take place this year as well – and we’ll try to get the most out of it.

It seems to me there are countries where we have to hold a race. And France is one of them. So is Belgium. So is Monaco. It’s a special race for us,” said Ocon.

Esteban Ocon:

🗣 “It’s a street circuit I enjoy, and we know that anything can happen there. We’ll be seeing wheel to wheel action down the straights which is very exciting for a track like this”.#F1 #AzerbaijanGP pic.twitter.com/ThATDExl1z
