The stage is set for an exciting encounter as Arsenal take on Manchester City in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Friday evening. The Gunners, who currently lead the Premier League table, sitting five points clear of second-placed City, will look to continue their impressive form in the cup competition.

The match at the Etihad Stadium will be a tough test for Mikel Arteta’s side, who will have to be at their best to secure a victory against a strong City side. However, the Gunners will be boosted by their current league form, which has seen them remain undefeated since September.

After their clash with City, Arsenal will return to league action next weekend when they travel to Goodison Park to take on Everton. The Toffees have recently sacked manager Frank Lampard following a poor run of form that sees them 19th in the current standings.

Speculations are high on who will be the next manager of the Merseyside club, with former Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa and ex-Burnley head coach Sean Dyche being some of the names in the mix. According to Sky Sports, Dyche is expected to be appointed today, and his first game in charge will be against Arsenal on Saturday week.

Dyche will be keen to secure a positive result against the Gunners, as his record against them has been poor over the years, winning just one of his 15 meetings, a 1-0 triumph back in December 2020. On the other hand, Arteta, who was the Arsenal manager that day, has spoken highly of Dyche in the past, praising his work at Burnley.

In conclusion, the upcoming match between Arsenal and Manchester City in the FA Cup, and the subsequent league match between Arsenal and Everton under the management of Sean Dyche, promises to be a thrilling encounter for football fans. With both teams looking to secure a positive result, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
