Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Chelsea’s prusuit of Declan Rice.
West Ham star is on the Blus’ radar for a long time, yet the Premier League side haven’t cooled down their interest in him.
Recently Rice has been linked with the move both at Stamford Bridge and Liverpool for the upcoming transfer window. The deal could be possible as the attacker has refused to sign a contract extension with the Hammers.
“I reported last summer that Declan Rice was not going to sign a new deal with West Ham and this is still the case; no agreement, so there are good chances for Declan to leave in the summer,” Romano said on his Daily Briefing on CaughtOffside.
“I’m not sure about the price tag yet, as West Ham have not decided and they still feel strong on the price having an option to extend the contract for one more year,” the journalist added.
