Ghana national team manager Chris Hughton has explained his decision not to include Thomas Partey in the squad to face Angola.

Partey, who is currently on international duty with the African side, didn’t take part in tier latest 1 – 1 draw in the qualifiers of the African Cup of Nations.
Hughton was asked the reason behind Partey’s absence to which the manager replied:
“Thomas has a small injury issue & we felt it was too big of a risk to start him.”
