Chelsea’s new manager Graham Potter is in no rush to pick No 1 goalkeeper at Stamford Bridge.
Edouard Mendy’s tendon injury saw Kepa Arrizabalaga starting for the Blues in the last two games against RB Salzburg and Crystal Palace.
Now Mendy is back at the squad, however, Potter will still play Arrizabalaga in the starting XI against AC Milan in the Champions League group stage on Wednesday.
Ahead of the game, the manager was asked whether he has already made decision over Chelsea’s first choice keeper.
“If you look at what we’ve got over the next six weeks, it’s an incredible schedule. So I am in no rush to label anybody one or two,” Potter answered, as per Sportbible.
