Mikel Arteta provides double injury update following Sheffield trashing

Arsenal faced Sheffield United on Monday in the Premier League and celebrated a 6-0 win.

Martin Odegaard opened the scoring just five minutes into the game, while Jayden Bogle scored an own goal to make it 2-0.

Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz, Declan Rice, and Ben White also got their names on the scoresheet.

Although the Gunners celebrated a win, Mikel Arteta’s side is left with injury concerns as Martinelli was replaced in the 63rd minute, while Saka was also subbed off.

“He [Saka] was feeling a bit sick. As well we have Fabio [Vieira] who we needed to give minutes,” the manager told Sky Sports.

“We had a little issue with Gabi Martinelli. He had a little cut in his foot. We need to see how it is.”
